Another way to look at it - matches against the other 5 top teams:
1st Half: 5 - Penn State & Ohio State 4 - Purdue 3 - Wisconsin & Minnesota 2 - Nebraska
2nd Half: 6 - Nebraska 5 - Wisconsin & Minnesota 4 - Purdue 3 - Penn State & Ohio State

I initially missed that Lexi Rodriguez was selected for both Freshman of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week.
Very impressed that Sidney Hiller now has her 16th setter of the week selection tying for second most ever in conference history with Micha Hancock.

I would venture to agree. Only thing I can really see happening is Rutgers getting a top-25 upset. But I do think Wisconsin will be good this year. My âboldâ predictions (they are bold because they probably wonât happen, no sense in arguing against them) â˘Nebraska loses 8 or more matches this year â˘Ohio State finishes top 3 in the Big Ten â˘Minnesota wins 4 or less non-conference matches â˘Adanna Rollins has close to or over 4 kills per set for PSU Letâs look back on these halfway through the season⌠1. Nebraska has only lost 3 games so far. Looking very unlikely they will lose 8 or more. 2. Ohio State is currently 5th. I think theyâll finish around there. 3. Minnesota won 5 non-conference matches 4. Rollins is averaging 2.31 K/S. Looks like Iâm not the best at making bold predictions.

Emily Ehmanâs bold B1G predictions: â˘Stephanie Samedy named National Player of the Year â˘Rutgers will get a top-25 upset â˘Lauren Barnes named B1G DPOY â˘Wisconsin wins national title What yâall think? What are your bold predictions? And looking back on Emily Ehmanâs⌠although itâs hard to tell: 1. I donât think Samedy will be NPOY (although she should), because Minnesota hasnât been good enough. 2. Itâs looking increasing unlikely that Rutgers will get a top-25 upset, theyâve looked terrible. 3. I could see Barnes being DPOY but would have to think Roddy is the front runner at this point. 4. Still donât think Wisconsin will win the title, especially with their injuries now.

I think this Sunday, say around noon eastern, would be a perfect time to sit Rettke, Barnes, Hilley, Civita... someone have Sheff's number? We need to make a call!
