I just don’t get where Avery would even go on the court. Yossi has her spot sealed. Harrison did well for herself. I would be sad to see Harrison get relegated to the pine, and would be pissed to see Avery get that after this season. Would she play right side??? Baylor has too much! Too too much. How all of a sudden they get these type of players. But the transfers outside of Harrison aren’t working so I just don’t get it lol Baylor needs a strong OPP and I have to agree moving Pressley to the right might be the best move. Get her out of the passing rotation, she's already sickening out of the back row, let Skinner take over her spot at OH. Or move Harrison to the right. Either way, Van der Mark has been very inconsistent the past two seasons and having that many weapons on the pin can only help the situation. But I agree -- that roster size would have me thinking twice about transferring there. I agree with moving Yossi to the right BUT she’s made it a point in about every interview that she “needs to work on passing”, no %*$# lol. But I think she wants to play OH internationally and she knows that’s her chance with usa. With that being said, what yossi says may be what goes... is Harrison terminal/comfortable enough to bring it on the opp? Ugh just why Baylor girl lol

There is just no way Pressley can play on the left for team US. She will have to move to the right like Willowby, Hooker etc.

My understanding is seniors can only receive an additional “Covid” year with scholarship if they stay at the same school. A player cannot transfer and gain a scholarship fifth year, utilizing this past year as a “red-shirt”.

No. The only difference is that the scholarship doesn’t count against the 12 if a senior stays at the same school.

According to the Kentucky thread A Skinner is now a Baylor Bear. Baylor's passing just made a sharp turn skyward!

She is fantastic at her area of the court. She isn’t the type of passer that is going be able to pass half the court and be aggressive in seams but she will do just fine. The reason she had some struggles was becomes teams served her relentlessly because of the other passers Kentucky had. She wouldn’t have been a serving target on most other teams and she certainly won’t be for Baylor. Also her “struggles” were around a 2.0-2.05 which isn’t horrible but Kentucky had the luxury of fantastic ball control players on the bench that could come and relieve her

I saw her make some pretty good passes on tough serves in the NCAA tournament, so based upon that evidence I took the plunge.

I don’t think she is going to make a giant difference between Baylor’s passing this past season and the Fall. I do think overall she makes Baylor much more dangerous. Their biggest issues were setting and lack of a RS presence this past season. I think Yossi on the right + A Skinner left will make a big upgrade overall, but We’ll see re: passing.
