Qualifiers Magda Jehlarova is 4th with .81 blocks/set.
This means Magda is going to miss the beginning of the college season, right? Yea. As of now the dates are Aug 18-Sept 4.
Assuming the Czech don't have some absurd success, they'll be done by Sept 1. (Based on 2019's schedule: R16 Aug 28, QF Aug 31, SF 3rd, Final 4th)

Two items: 1. Norway's opposite is Julie Mikaelsen, who played at Wisconsin from 2010-2014. 2. Since when is Israel in Europe? And a third thing: One of Greece's opposites, Martha Anthouli, is a 2022 commit for the Badgers. Anthouli started for Greece today in their match against Austria. She had 19 kills on 32 swings (led all scorers)

Pool A is oof. I think B&H and France might be on the outs.
Pool B will be a fight for that 4th spot. Germany and Poland seem safe... but after... looks like it could be a battle.
Pool C will be a cruise for Italy. That 4th spot will again be a battle.
Pool D will be fine for Turkey. I'm not sure about the Netherlands (depends on who is on their roster) We get a Sweden vs Ukraine rematch. I think Sweden can make the knockouts (for the first time)

Each host getting to pick one team to place into their pool is the dumbest thing ever.
Has that always been a thing?
