On Gaby Cornier story it looked like Coach Boos jumped in the hotel pool after the victory, love that for him and the team. Love the way this team plays for each other. I don't know if anyone else notices but when their all on the bench during a timeout or in between sets you can see the reassurance everyone is giving each other. Hopefully we can get one if not both wins from Minnesota and Wisconsin. They'll be big RPI boosts and will set us up nicely for the tourney if the teams plays good during SEC play. I think it was his birthday! They were singing to him in the huddle right after the match finished. So fun  |

I am admittedly only a Florida fan because Martin is on my fantasy team… but watching that match last night has me so excited for all of you Gator fans. Martin is playing at such a high level already. And I think Stuckey’s contributions flew under the radar a bit last night. She was of course setting incredibly well in system, but her defense was also very impressive. She made several bump sets off bad passes that were masterful. The vibe of the entire team is so fun to watch. Congrats on the win!

No one is saying that Florida is going to be this big undefeated beast. They are a beatable team, but you don't just win against 3 top 10 teams randomly. Sure they might lose some matches but what more can you ask for a team that lost over 50% of their offense? Florida volleyball right now is exceeding all expectations and they deserve all the praise right now. |

And maybe this will finally be the year where it crushes all the doubters, but there is a long history that substantiates that doubt. I'm going to side with history for now, but I would actually be happy for Mary Wise to win a national championship. |

I don't know what you're implying anymore? No one is saying that Florida is going to be this big undefeated beast. They are a beatable team, but you don't just win against 3 top 10 teams randomly. Sure they might lose some matches but what more can you ask for a team that lost over 50% of their offense? Florida volleyball right now is exceeding all expectations and they deserve all the praise right now. Florida looks good, no doubt. And maybe this will finally be the year where it crushes all the doubters, but there is a long history that substantiates that doubt. I'm going to side with history for now, but I would actually be happy for Mary Wise to win a national championship. It is an exclusive club of teams that have done it. It is rare that a new team breaks through. Florida actually has a bit of history of deep runs over the years. Not cashing in on any of those chances has really been frustrating. Like seeing Kentucky, without the sustained history of deep runs, winning it all on their first opportunity, painful. Mary deserves to get one. Hopefully this year. |

South Florida has won more sets against UF (2) than Penn State, Stanford and Minnesota combined (1).

I have Florida at number 2 in my poll this week. Almost had them at number 1. Florida is No. 1 for me this week, and it wasn't a hard decision. They have the best wins in the country. |
