I'm liking Hall on the right. I like all our options out of the back row. Beason is legit Depth is there too. I wonder if they've practiced at all with Thayer on the right all the time, but as a passing opposite. She's been so effective over there and Beason has looked so good on the left. I'd love to just see it some time. IDK, but it would be there as an option. |

I just watched the Minny match again-- > LOVING Merritt Beason!!!! Just Wow! > Great job by Marlie...esp feeding the Beast they call Forte. > Ball control effort was terrific too (cue the actual numbers to dispute, hah). I am excited for this weekend vs Baylor! This Gators team is clicking. All of these things! Let's see more of Merritt everywhere lol. Her back row attack looks comfortable already. I can see it now... Dooley/Okammor run the slide, Ceasar and Beason fly out of the back, Thayer on the left. Who do the defenders choose?? I think Marlie is setting the backrow the best he ever has. Nice to have multiple options, sees like every rotation has at least 4 legit options now. |

What's wrong with My Gators??? Way too many weapons to be struggling; They need to start considering coaching changes. Sad to see them @ #16 in the latest poll.

I think it all comes back to passing. From what I saw, the passing was just so bad. That's why we lost to Stanford and it's why we lost to Baylor twice. They got in a serious funk. Now I REALLY would like to see about moving Thayer to the right, but still passing. Or I'd like to see how Beason does in the passing rotation more. Can't be much worse than the funks that T'ara gets in, eh? Or just pass with two. In the match Friday, McKissock was diving halfway across the court to jump in front of T'ara anyway... |

Can someone explain Florida's roster construction to me? How did the team end up with 5 natural middle blockers, only 2 DS's and no experienced opposites?
