we didn't need a think piece but sue me bc I'd rather want a OH who can hit at least .250 be on the floor rather than a 5th yr senior who is almost giving up as much points as they are scoring On the whole, I don’t disagree. But she sure has something to say to you today lol. Currently at 17 kills (12 more than anyone else) hitting over .400 You are wrong for agreeing. Agean. If you expect OH’s to hit .429, you will invariably be disappointed. |

Assuming Kennedy and Stucky get back the team will be better, but still I’m seen basic elements that has not been corrected and that is a problem. The are committing too many errors in service. The passing is very inconsistent and unfortunately the setting is not involving everyone when is needed. Now is some instances where we have 3 DS in the back and no attack on the RS. That is coaching 101. Even those DS are not doing the job and Mary continue using the same ones, when she has a bunch in the bench. I don’t see any coach correcting or guiding the players when they need it. now the rotation is bad when Martin is in the back and we have only two attackers in front. The lost against USF for me is no excuse for it. Florida beat them badly using the middles and back attack. For any reason that I dot know they change it and the game was over. USF is a team not to beat Florida bench. We continue depending in only one player and that is not good. Positive thing is seen Thomas playing very good. We can beat good teams like Ohio State and Georgia Tech only depending in one player. Another thing I don’t understand is why they are not using two liberos as the new rule allows, and why they are not giving Lauren Harden any play time, a 6-3’ player with a hammer and was chosen Gatorade player of the year in her last year of high school. Hopefully they get it together and keep it going until we have other players available. Go Gators!!! |

You sure “see” a lot for someone who was just complaining that you wouldn't be able to watch the matches… and your idea of coaching 101 should have had you on the FL bench by now… showing them how its done… ffs… just be a fan already… let me show you how that works…

You sure “see” a lot for someone who was just complaining that you wouldn't be able to watch the matches… and your idea of coaching 101 should have had you on the FL bench by now… showing them how its done… ffs… just be a fan already… let me show you how that works… Go Gators! Oh believe me I can do way better job than some obsolete coaching staff. Maybe you just think they are the best and bla bla bla, but not me and many others. I have been a Gators fan for many many years and I always be, but I’m convince that with the current coaches no Championship. Is about time Florida get one, specially with the talent that they always have. I’m not interested in be a coach, but believe I could be. And just in case, I saw the games already streamed this year, besides a I have a very good friend that go to the games and she know volleyball very hell. Go Gators!!! |

Has there been any further details about Martin’s injury or a return timeline? Florida posted an article where it mentioned “her return to be determined”. Kinda gives me the idea that she will be back at some point this season, just don’t know when.. |

Just gotta say that I really like these freshmen. Particularly Rothe. She was so engaged from start to finish. I was impressed even with the way she carried herself during warmups, locked in during all of the drills and giving 100% effort. At one point when they were waiting during Ohio State’s turn, she was having a very focused conversation with Hutson discussing strategy/technique or something, not just shooting the breeze. Lastly, during a long challenge where the DJ was playing this laaaaaame elevator music on loop, she and the team rallied the fans and pumped us all up.
Aaaaaanyway. Super impressed with how our freshmen and Thomas have stepped up and contributed to this team. They’re gonna be super fun to watch for the next few years with Stucky and K-Mart!
