Watching the replay.
“A Plummer should know a thing about pipes.”
How did no one call this out in the thread yet? That is comedy gold.

Dixon is talked about as being the good blocker for team USA... ZERO blocks today. I could have sworn she had at least one to end the second set... I believe she got a block as well. They have missed a few blocks for a couple (players) matches that I have watched.

Watching the replay Justine doesn’t look as bad as the board makes her out to be and Thompson is pounding balls.

I think what I remember reading is her not wanting it bad enough or something like that re her pro career overseas. I thought she was basically “cancelled” after that match, but looks like she has worked her way back into the starting position.

Watching the replay Justine doesn’t look as bad as the board makes her out to be and Thompson is pounding balls. I can't speak to how she was before, but regarding today I felt her defense was OK. Not good, but not bad. She had some bad reads that put her out of position to not even be able to make a play on the ball. Those really jumped out at me. Other than that she was ok.

Karch is going to use both JWO and Courtney in the VNL (im not sure we'll know if its a starting lock unless we just dont see Courtney) JWO's passing is a lot better since then. She basically passed in 2/2.5 this season because her teammates were that bad lol and managed to be one of the top passers in Germany

OK relative to whom? It was a refreshing defensive performance given the other option

Watching the replay. “A Plummer should know a thing about pipes.” How did no one call this out in the thread yet? That is comedy gold. But he said it when she wasn't even hitting a pipe hehe. Would've been better timing had it been when she crushed the pipe in set 3

No one knows if this is the starting team. I would wager against it, especially since Foluke and Chiaka weren't playing. Also, I don't think Kelsey doesn't get on the floor + Drews vs Thompson is still debatable.
