I think the frontrunners for Tokyo are still Foluke, Chiaka and Washington.
Based on the sample size of *one* match, Tapp outplayed Dixon. Dixon will have to block her way to Tokyo, and I just don't foresee that happening.

I think she has had a nagging injury. She left her pro team last season at the midway point because the leagues schedule was really tough on her body. She has aged out it seems. It happens.

Let’s say you start Luke/Chi… one is having a bad match or whatever. Who do you want coming off the bench of available players? Who provides the best combo of attacking, blocking, defense and serving? Who is gonna pump the team up? Does Washington not fit the bill? Is anyone else even remotely close to her that isn’t Luke or Chi?

Adams seems to have lost a step in her explosiveness which was obviously her greatest asset. She has been dealing with nagging injuries which is unfortunate.

I do actually feel bad for Dixon because she was a lock for Rio before the injury, IMO… but it just isn’t her time anymore regardless of how hard she’s tried. She’s not the same level she was and others are simply better today…It’s not just sports, it’s the pinnacle of sports. The best of the best make it from here on out.

My only issue with the three of them (Luke/Chi/Haleigh) is that Chi may or might not be fully healthy. Then you have Luke who went down in rio with a knee injury and we all know Haleigh's battle with her knee. Sooooo I'm just slightly worried about that combo from a health perspective. They are, with out question, the top three on the team. I know we haven't seen Luke yet, but she looks in great shape so I see no reason to suspect that she won't blow us all away when we finally get to see her.

And Tori has had knee after knee issue herself. Middle life.

Tori Dixon stans unite... y'all as slow as her Just read the trajectory of the posts about Tori. Disgusting. Here's someone who has dedicated a huge chunk of her life to Team USA, missed the last Olympics only because of an unfortunate injury, and people are treating her like she is garbage. Grow up. Happening a lot, everywhere, not just in volleyball. It is truly disgusting. Thank you, (R)uffda? for being aware to call it out.

She's healthy (but also had a knee issue back in 2018) and playing really well it would seem at the moment.

This game was exciting for me. I thought we looked okay, you obviously could see the immaturity in some players. Wonder what happened to Foecke? Did she decide to go to vet school b/c of Covid? So impressed with Larson, still. Seeing older athletes still competing and winning is awesome. Looking forward to watching Hill, Foluke, Krob, and others get back on the court. JWO is looking good and fit. Hope she excels in the next few years. GO TEAM USA !!!

After covid hit she didn’t want to go back playing overseas and called it quits then
