NCAA Softball Selection -- Does the committee love the B1G?

Holy sh*t this Texas/Oregon game.

Texas was down to their last strike, sends a ball deep to CF wall, Oregon CF comes so close to coming up with the catch but it bounces out of her glove and the game is tied at 2-2.

ESPN now says they want to play again tonight and they will play the if-necessary as long as this game finishes by 1040 local (20 minutes from now) which is only likely to be possible if Oregon walks it off in the bottom of the 7th.

UW/UM is 1-1. Both teams scored in the first inning, after scoring a total of 5 combined runs in the previous two games. And now Michigan threatening to score in the second.

Oregon forces game 7 -- the NCAA manual say that games *should* not be started before 9am or after 11pm, but that is no absolute and it still says all efforts will be made to complete the regionals on Sunday. The only absolute is it cannot start after 11pm local on Monday. Since it's Sunday, they will still play the game tonight.

So we will have a game 7 - just after midnight on the east coast, at 1215am ET!

It's only typical this happens in the Oregon/Texas series.

Two #PAC12AfterDark matches going on.. and Washington's not going away just yet.

I have to admit, I thought the UW game was effectively over at 5-1. But it's now 5-5.

Michigan 2B with a couple poor plays. Double clench on the throw home that was bang-bang, could have gone either way to give UW a 6-5 lead.

I'm stunned this game is high scoring and Oregon-Texas, who are both throwing their #2 pitchers, are in a 0-0 scoreless battle bottom 4th

I just hope the winner of this regional can knock out Oklahoma.

OMG. Looks like the Huskies saw these long metal sticks in the dugout and said, "Hey, are we supposed to be using these things? Let's try it."

Yikes. Texas finally breaks through - they lead 1-0 Bottom 4th over the Ducks.

#1 Oklahoma's 2nd Super Regional game against either #16 Washington or Michigan will be broadcast on ABC! That's a big deal.

Well, that was quite a story there in Montlake. Lose at home 2-1 to Michigan. Then have to play through the losers bracket. Beat Michigan 2-0. Then fall behind 5-1 in the final, but come back to win 10-5.

All that, and now they go to Oklahoma to play against the #1 seed.
