huh? You think she’s just going to decline in like a month in a half ? She looked dynamic AF today hitting the same angles she hit in 2012 Tokyo is a different ball game to VNL. I've seen players or teams that did well in the VNL but not so great in the Olympics afterward. Impossible! the first VNL was in 2018, the last Olympics was 2016.
kidding aside, I get what you mean; some players do well in VNL/GP but when it comes to WCh/WCup/OG they choke. But I don't think it will happen to Fe Garay since she's already an experienced player unlike the usual suspects.

VNL and WGP, they are the same tournament, just different names. If you want to be clear, I was referring to both. As for Fe Garay, like I said, we'll see.

Ask yourself...is Wilhite even coming to Tokyo? That should answer your question. We get it, you hate Wilhite. Try a new schtick. It probably goes back to when she decommitted from Wisconsin when Pete Waite got fired.

Getting back to the US vs Brazil match, what did you think of Larson's premature celebration? Sorry, I haven't watched the full match yet, intending to do it soon. When was the celebration? There was a long rally when US scored their 16th point in Set 2. Larson at one point thought she got that point in the bag but Brazil somehow managed to dig that ball. Larson was already turning around and celebrating when the ball was coming back over. Fortunately, the US did win that point in the end.

I think it's great that these kind of things happen in a relatively unimportant VNL match, rather than an Olympics quarter or semifinal. Now the players would be aware of these situations.
If that point was actually lost, it'd hurt. But in VNL there is only egg on face, whereas in Olympics it could matter for more, especially in a tight match.
