Unrelated to the thread topic, but is Plummer’s move to Imoco a good one or is / was there a team that fit her goals better? I think it's a good move. She might struggle with Wolosz's tempo, but getting used to fast can only help her versatility. Plus, she gets to play in the Italian League and the CL, especially if she consistently replaces Sylla, which I think she will. Santarelli seems like a good passing coach and just a good coach in general. Also, Imoco is a good org for player support, I remember they gave Chi an Italian tutor + most of the starters speak English anyways. Generally, I think it's a good idea, the only problem might be getting enough match time. Coaching and level of competition on the team (Egonu in practice every day too?) and in the League are always positive factors. Playing time is a valid consideration. Hopefully, it will be a positive experience in Italy this time.

who knows. most thought the move to Japan was a bad move... and look how that turned out lol Do we have enough information to determine whether that was a good or bad move? Most assumed she would go there, play opposite, and not pass. Which isn't what happened. I think it's enough to say it wasn't a bad move. Learning to play with and against the Japanese style is beneficial to her game style

Learning to play with and against the Japanese style is beneficial to her game style From the games I watched, when she was in the front row, she passed in a 4-person SR formation, and in the backrow, she was hidden. My concern was always re: passing (and I'll only speak for myself). I don't know if it was a bad move either! Her one passing performance thus far sans Larson isn't super encouraging though. Regardless I just don't think it's accurate to say that anyone who thought Japan wasn't the best choice (specifically for developing into a USA 6-rotation OH) have been proven wrong.

Her passing vs. Canada wasn't great, but on the brighter side, she hasn't gotten aced yet. I think she just needs to build some confidence there. She was on an island vs. Canada without Larson and got worked. It'll take time. We're still waiting for confirmation she's going to Imoco. I wonder what's taking so long?

And there was a rumor imoco is also interested on her. It's just that italy has rule should be only 2 foreign from same country and they already signed Courtney. If I'm manager of imoco i would rather get swp to sign. But getting plummer is also good because i can ask her to play sub for egonu and that might be good fit for her if her passing will not improve.

Rewatched game last night and Parsons was the clutch to this win. Poulter looks more comfortable as setter. As I have been saying ever since her graduation that JWO will manifest into an elite libero. This team's cohesiveness is the best I've seen in years. If they can keep this mojo going, we win GOLD.

She’s going to be on an island regardless of who else is in the pattern.
