I'm glad you posted this.
I don't follow stats as much as you, but I had this feeling watching her in Italy this past season. It was visibly down.. that’s stats definitely don’t look good but the roll shifted I think
I mean, if Hill doesn't turn it up a notch or two during this VNL, is she still guaranteed a Tokyo roster spot?

Probably. I just wasn't impressed with her offense. Half the time for her to get a kill it had to be one of those no block attempts that Egonu+Wolosz gets her Maybe she thrives on being the main gun. Honestly .. Glass would shoot her way too many balls during the last quad. Maybe she needs every other set to be productive. That said, she still isn’t getting the set she needs most times, today. Yep. and that if connection doesn't develop... I hope the USA doesn't hesitate to go to plan B (SWP) |

Prob cuz Hill was busy passing half the court next Monica. Probably. I just wasn't impressed with her offense. Half the time for her to get a kill it had to be one of those no block attempts that Egonu+Wolosz gets her I'm just not sure that Hill offers anything that Larson and Krob don't already bring, but better. |

Did she hit of Carlini or Poulter for WC? And I honestly don’t even remember her playing that much. Maybe she is number 4 for Karch? Yikes kimmy. Also Bulgaria is Better than anyone we’ve played here sans DR and Brazil |

I think Hill will thrive with Carlini. She had great moments with her in 2019.

The USA needs that OOS terminator. That is literally the only missing piece to this team. Thompson almost fills that role, but KP definitely does. SWP is a maybe. We need a bigger sample size. Hopefully we will see more of KP and SWP in this tournament. I will be disappointed if we do not.

Yikes kimmy. Also Bulgaria is Better than anyone we’ve played here sans DR and Brazil Carlini set that entire IOQT tournament. Hill also only hit off of Carlini in the World Cup except for that 4th set debacle vs. Japan where she hit a ball into the antenna and cost the USA the set. After that, she was relegated to coming in to serve for middles and only playing vs. the the weaker teams. |

Problem is that we should have seen some KP moments against Brazil… she can light up the next two weeks but it proves nothing against C level teams. |
