Thinking about the match, I imagine Germany will rest its best players to try to get wins against Korea and Italy. If this is close I would be pretty worried.

That would be if they’re simply trying to get to the finals, but Felix may want to be getting big match experience for his young guns. Alsmeier has never played a match of this caliber against this team and I imagine she plays if Felix is trying to determine if he wants her to be a starter next quad. Orthmann may play as well for the same reason of figuring out who fills the pin trio with Geerties and Lippman. |

I'm hoping Karch keeps JT, MBH and Hill together so that when Drew's, Larson and k Rob aren't working well he can bring them all in together as a unit.

Agreed. I hope Felix plays his best lineup for a set or two, then rests them, depending on how things are going.
I'd like to see Imoudu setting; she's crafty and would help expose some of USA's blocking weaknesses.

Probably more likely that they’ll make the fourth middle that won’t play the second libero on the scoresheet, like they’ve done in the past. |
