I wanna see LC or JP. I need to take another look at both of them to decide if Hancock is really better than both of them.

This week is for the setters to make their case. Each opponent is weak so it’s 100% what they do on their side. It’s has to be.

I wouldn't be surprised to see: Carlini Thompson Washington Ogbogu Robinson MBH / Hill JWO Reach could be right that Karch is deciding on his setters and will play them with the rest of the Olympic roster this week.

If so, it’s kinda iffy cuz the women haven’t really been pressured. I know it can’t be helped, but compared to the men’s side where some of the fringe/non-lock players are seeing high level competition more often than not, it does seem a bit precarious. We still don’t really know an updated view of who does well under pressure, who can come off the bench, etc. I guess this is just one of those wait and see things.

Erin Virtue said that the first 3 weeks is to try different combos with all the players.
I bet we see changes at all the positions and only some key cogs playing in all the matches (ie, Larson and Wong-Orantes).

It's time to see the best middles and outsides with each setter otherwise you don't know how each setter does. If you put Poulter or Carlini with Tapp and Dixon tomorrow then that's not quite the same as Hanock setting Luke and Chi, is it? Should be apples and apples.

But I doubt he makes those 6 players play all three matches this week, do you?
