I think Imoco will employ their revolving door strategy again next season between Sylla, KP (if she's actually going there) and Courtney. I'm fairly confident the strategy for Imoco is that KP is the next Adams and that Courtney is replacing Hill. In theory, they should get more from Courtney, especially passing, and Wolosz doesn't have that weird set with Courtney to ruin her for other setters. I'm hoping Plummer takes Sylla's starting spot eventually, but that might be a little too much to hope for. Plus foreigner rules. I agree with that. Santarelli can keep Sylla on a pretty short leash. It will depend on foreigners on the court of course in A1 but CL will be wide open.

That's why she is playing libero. The others (Robinson, MBH, etc.) are better attackers than her, Robinson might be even better at passing than Courtney. Yes, but you also lose Larson and Hill after this year. Passing has always been a staple of Karch teams. (and for what it's worth, Courtney's attacking/blocking/passing numbers were better than Hill's this season) This is impressive to me especially considering the weapons on imoco that would have lessened the attention placed on hill

I really really like Courtney, but there times where I think she has struggled to terminate/work around the block. Can anyone supply her numbers from this past season? I think this next quad she will for sure compete for one of those four OH spots That will never happen, especially with the new crop of hitters coming from college, who are more physical at the net the Courtney. Courtney is a good blocker yes? Plus, until those hitters prove themselves and adjust to all aspects of the international game (attacking, passing, blocking, etc.) I will not immediately give them the edge over Courtney

For what it's worth, Courtney's highest jump touch is like 10'5", she's no slouch. I know that she had to carry Scandicci on a few occasions when Stysiak/Pietrini/Vasileva wasn't getting it done.

Also, interesting factoid, Boskovic's max jump touch is actually only like one centimeter above Courtney's. She just gets that high much more often.

jump touch is important but not the decisive factor.
