It will be interesting to see if Sha'Carri can follow up this performance with gold at the Olympics. The Jamaicans will be tough, but maybe she can take it home for Team USA for the first time in over 20 years.

I said something about the semis bc sometimes you can get easier semi’s where you can afford to pull up, but thats not the case with Sha’Carri, her main competitors is in her semi like it was for the 100. She’s not gonna have a problem getting to the the finals at all💀

Shoutout to former Lobo Josh Kerr for taking gold in the 1500m. That UK connection has been great for New Mexico. In addition to Kerr, the UK played a major role in New Mexico's 2015 women's cross country national championship, which was the best team in the history of the sport at the collegiate level.

Sha’Carri is a phenomenal 100 meter runner, but she hasn’t had the same kind of success at 200. I think she’ll take third at least, but will be fun to see her push Jackson and Thomas

By the way, here are my top 10 NCAA women's cross country teams of all time: 1. 2015 New Mexico 2. 2001 BYU 3. 2018 Colorado 4. 2004 Colorado 5. 1999 BYU 6. 2008 Washington 7. 2014 Michigan St 8. 2009 Villanova 9. 2002 BYU 10. 2017 New Mexico I had written up my reasoning for the rankings, but unfortunately, it was on a hard drive that died. Maybe I'll rewrite it at some point.

Jackson’s put up very comparable times to Thomas this season (Jackson ran a 21.71 at the JNCs to Thomas’s 21.60 at USAs), and is the second fastest all time in the 200 to Thomas’s fourth fastest all time. Either can easily win and both look to be in their peak, so it’s looking like a marquee event of the championships

Those were her times I was referring to. But I have Jackson taking it, she’s been trying to get that record and ik she’s upset after taking that 100m loss

Not counting her out at all, but still.
