I'm just going to say it, because I hope it becomes a reality. I cannot wait for Plummer, Rettke, Butler and Thompson to all be on this team at the same time. I mean.....can ya'll imagine? I hope the first three develop into international level successes on the pro circuit. This team is going to really blossom in the coming years. Paris 2024 is going to be really exciting. I hope Tokyo works out for Larson and Akinradewo. I really want them to have that complete Olympic medal set. Silver, Bronze and Gold. I'll literally cry for like a week if the team wins gold. But, we shall see if they can really hang with the big three in Tokyo. Right now, my optimism in this team is starting to increase. You’d literally cry for a week? No. lol. But I would probably shed a power tear or two if they won the gold. I'm a cryer though. At movies, at sentimental stuff. 🤷🏻♂️ I don't tend to shy away from my emotions. |

rewatching the game now and just watched the part where Guidetti on time was talking to Karakurt saying "they play your tip, why are you angry? play, play again" - loved it! straight to the point, its not mean, not condescending. just why are you angry, just play?  |

[ I think they’ll make a run to the final? That would be epic. I absolutely do. Now, make a run means they’re good enough to be in a match that puts them in a position to win, from there you need a little luck, make a few critical plays.... but yes, I absolutely think they have the stuff to win. |

See....this is the flip side of the emotional coaching style coin. Gio gets them all fired up and then when they start getting mad when their level of play is sub-par compared to their competition, they just look really bad. I wish he would chill out and not get them so riled up 😤. It's his method, and sometimes it works, but when it backfires, it REALLY backfires. |

But then started to appreciate men (and women) that can show their emotions, I think its very healthy to do that. It's that the people that show no emotions or don't have any emotions that scare me now. |

On another note, rewatching this match and have a question for all you pros. On one play, USA over passed a ball and a perfect set for Turkey (which they took advantage.) How come no one went up and tried to block? Is this not done at the pro level? Nicklin Hames setter for Nebraska goes up on every over pass and has success at blocking it.

Usually the setter will still go up if front row, otherwise there’s not much they can do about it |
