Ok, here it is. Please feel free to compose a list of my posts. Russia played the best volleyball I’ve seen this olympics at points during the China match. Fedortseva is actually insane and is going to be one of the best players in the world when she gets older. That being said usa is going to sweep or Russia is going to win in 4 messy sets. Thank you

do you even know what team Hancock played for this past club season? I’ve never seen you add anything of value to any international volleyball thread ever. Only trashing Carlini and praising Hancock. I’m genuinely curious if you know anything about this or are just stanning Hancock because she’s from PSU. I was team Hancock but she was absolutely horrid in her limited action against Russia last night. YEA, you’re clueless
Russia is the favorite lmao. When they play like they did last night I don’t think anyone can beat them WRONG, Turkey beat them last night.

ummm. ok moving on... I think Brazil - ROC is the most intriguing matchup of the QFs, followed by Italy - Serbia. Hoping ROC can bring their A-game to make it entertaining. Otherwise it will be a quick match |

ummm. ok moving on... I think Brazil - ROC is the most intriguing matchup of the QFs, followed by Italy - Serbia. Hoping ROC can bring their A-game to make it entertaining. Otherwise it will be a quick match At this point i think all 4 games can be surprising. I’ll try to watch all 😅 |

Predictions for the podium? The odds of this happening are very slim, and I’m sure no one else will share the same prediction, but heck, everyone was so sure China would medal let alone win the gold, so here’s my fearless forecast 😈😈😈 1. ROC 2. USA 3. Italy |

Calling it now. Korea and DR in the gold medal match KYK wins gold and cements herself as a legend amongst legends by becoming the only 2-time indoor Olympic MVP. We love to see it <3 |

Who do you guys think are the front runners for MVP after the we’ve watched all the group plays? I don’t think I have watched enough of every team but I would say Fe Garay, Boskovic, KYK (if Korea can at least get past Turkey), JT (depending on if she plays again soon), and Gonch are up there.
I couldn’t think of any standout setters, maybe Maja but I don’t think she would get it over Tijana.
And depending on how they perform in knock out play, I think Egonu, Drews, Boz could potentially be in contention too.

This might be silly, but if the US wins (and depending on JT/Ps recovery), I would give it to JWO. However, I don't think the FIVB/IOC would give it to a Libero. She has been the most consistent player for the US, and she has raise our level of play. Otherwise probably whichever OP of ours plays the knockout rounds. If it's another team, I would say Bosko, Gonch, or Fe Garay - they're all playing great tournaments. Startseva too, she's playing great and probably the top three setters here. |
