I'm low key happy that Blagojević and Milenković are the starting OH pair. I remember in the 2018 VNL finals when USA played SRB and the USA swept but each set was very competitive. SRB started Zivković, Rasić, Veljković, Bosković, Milenković, Blagojević and Pusić. I remember thinking that if they had Ognjenović and S. Popović that they would have been a formidable team, even without Mihajlović, who was injured at the time. To me, she hasn't looked the same since 2018, and even then, she was a shadow of her 2016 form. I assume she is still banged up which is why she isn't starting for SRB right now?

Who would play opposite if she switched over? Bjelica? Carić? Bjelica. Maybe even Brankica if she gets healthy Ahh you mean in THIS tournament. I was thinking in the future. I don't think Bosko will be moved in this tournament.

yes. Both outsides are much better passers than her. Putting her into the passing formation jeopardizes 1) her attack 2) the middles She doesn't attack as well from the left pin as the right. And it takes away her D ball. Plus it takes away the advantage of swinging against opposing OH's. Opp's are (typically) better blockers. okay now this is the in depth discussion I like to see! Yes I agree with most of these points. I’m just suggesting it because if Bjelica is playing we don’t need bosko to be Wonder Woman we just need her to be very good and it would spread the block out more. Your reasons are valid though and I doubt we see it actually happen. Bjelica needs to learn to pass so she can be on the floor. Bjelica has played OH in Brazil, both seasons she was there I do believe. I do not think it was a good look for her though. She also is not spring chicken anymore. I don't see her being motivated to pick up that discipline.

Bosko is far too valuable to not play opp. She's top two in that position in the world. No reason to change that. It's on Maja at this point. Bosko, isn't the issue. Does Maja have any more magic?

I do like Blagojević being on the floor. She is basically a second libero and is probably a better passer than S. Popović. Milenković has been doing most of the passing so far and has held her own. If she struggles, I think Busa is the ticket. Also, like Madden said, this team set up is about getting the ball to Maja and hopefully the middles and Bosko can get the job done. Seems like a solid plan to me. Now, if only Poulter can establish a connection with USA's middles, I'd like USA's chances that much more. But this is Serbia's thread. I think they look pretty good so far, albeit vs. cupcake teams.

Ugh, its tough watching Mihajlovic... She is obviously not 100% agree. She just looks kind of aloof and sad out there. She celebrates points but you can tell that she’s not all there mentally right now
