BTW, are we gonna see the draws live? Or they will just announce it? The only sure thing is France vs Poland and Russia vs Canada.

Mad props to Alekno too. Iran lost, but they played better this tournament than I thought they did last Olympics. He made some really good decisions and roster choices.

I think what failed him was putting Marouf back in. He'll always be a world class setter, but I think he hasn't performed well at the latter stages of this quad. I don't think he's done well adjusting to his hitters or raising the bar. It made it easier for Japan to maintain their leads.

Ive been listening to podcastd and reading comments on various platforms and i always hear/read about the US not being a Winning driven team but more of a Process Driven team.

When will the QF's draw happen?

I'm still shook ya'll. I really hoped the USA would figure it out. It's been a terrible olympics for Team USA on the whole.

why tf are the top 2 pool teams on the same side of the bracket? I didn’t know the drawing did that, I thought it only determined 2v3 or 2v2, 3v3. That’s dumb

I just don't see Japan beating Brazil or Canada beating ROC. France vs Poland will be amazing. I'm officially rooting for Argentina to make the semi's and to crush Italy.

I also dont like their macho posturing every time they get a point. I understand that it is their way of hyping.up the team but their bench screams louder than those on the court. 🤣

I particularly dont like Ensing flexing at the sideline when he did nothing 🙄🙄
