Sarah’s got 6 blocks so far. She’s really shutting down Borger

21-14 MHPavs in the second. For a match against Sude, this was a lot less stressful than normal haha

17 kills, 7 blocks and an ace for Pavan How did MHP do? looked solid to me. Sarah saw probably 70% of the serves but Melissa was digging and transitioning well. I don’t think she dug many hard driven balls but read shots well. Sided out ok. Sarah’s blocking definitely the X factor in this match.

Stam/schoon might be the best team to not make it out of pool.

Stam/schoon might be the best team to not make it out of pool. I’d give them a good chance to beat Sude/Borger. The Germans haven’t played well at all. Joanouk and MHPavan will play to win pool A on Wednesday/Thursday.

Nice and easy 2-0 win for Brandie and Bansley. Much needed after their disappointing opener

Keizer/Meppelink lose in tiebreak to China. Their match went: 21-19, 29-31, 13-15.
ATeam to play Keizer/Meppelink next.

I’m not sure what the tiebreakers are for whether Keizer/Meppelink would still have a chance with a win. They could finish 3rd at 1-2 along with the loser of China/Spain, but have lost the head-to-head matchup with both.

They’ll need a win against the ATeam to even have a chance to make it to the Lucky Losers round.
