UH is a team in the right place at the right time,...nothing more! If, CAL POLY had not lost Jamie Stivers (playing in Hawaii, btw) when she slipped on a wet playing surface braking her arm, it would be the Lady'Stangs sitting in 1st. Just count your lucky stars. The saddest comment here. I'm sorry Mott was very dry during senior night. Hope the seniors enjoyed one (1) big balloon each though! I think a lot of schools should adopt what Hawaii does for their senior nights. Just walking the girls out with their parents is not doing enough. The players should be celebrated.

This isn't pointed at anyone but I think the conversation is getting a little lost. Just because multiple people here have said that CSUN is an easy beat for the Wahine does not mean the team itself and the players are going to take the match lightly or are not going to worry about the match. I feel like some are criticizing the team for something that are not doing or have said they're going to do.

Now that Hawaii won BWC, when they travel to Conus to compete in the NCAA playoffs, will the whole team travel for matches ?

Hawaii wins the Big West, no surprise, and prepares for their UCLA trip next week to play Pepperdine or San Diego in the 1st round next week, winner to play UCLA
meanwhile, will and how many BIg West teams will get invited or elect to go to the NIVC. guessing the RPI cut-off due to declines will be between 120-130 or so in RPI
SB (106) is a lock to get an invite, Cal Poly possibly (RPI was 140) likely to get consideration, but Poly has a losing record, but 2 teams is a distinct possibility. Not sure if SB would elect to go based on past history, Poly as well. Plus, with Covid still a consideration, wondering if there will be a lot of 'opt outs' from the field. LB was actually next in RPI at 164, Bake at 176 entering the week, but Bake is playing higher ranked opponents, so the Bake match vs. Irvine is a 'must-win', considering SB or Poly might decline an invite.
NOrmally, not a big fan of playing in the NIVC, but since Big West teams were deprived of a season last year, we'll see..
the SOS and west coast RPI bias is a killer in RPI for the Big West this year, but SOS we're especially poor this year
