If overtraining really is the true cause of the downfall of China.. just ugh Nah this team is too dependent on Zhu. They did not bring anything new to the Olympics unlike other teams. |

That China vs Italy on the last day is going to be a survival match for China! Italy better bring it!!! China plays Italy next. They must win that AND hope for other things to fall their way. China will know their fate, whether they have a chance or not before their final match against Argentina. Pool B will be all decided, China has the last match of the Pool that 5th round. they won't beat italy playing like this |

That China vs Italy on the last day is going to be a survival match for China! Italy better bring it!!! No chance China can beat Italy. China had many chances to beat Russia, but they blew it. If you can't even close out a match when the opponent is giving you opportunities to do so, what chance does China have against an opponent that won't give you any chance, like Italy? |

Thought Russia was done in set 4, but the run of serves brought them back from the brinks. Then China’s game became tentative, scared like.

That is China's mental problem. They have no ability to pounce back from adverse situation without Zhu. I suspect Zhu re-injured her wrist during training after the VNL. That impacted the confidence of the rest of the team and the rest of their game collapsed. |

I've seen some comments on VT people said Lang Ping doesn't care about the pool play that's why they're not performing as expected. But also outside of VT in the social media, there were some discussions that Lang Ping has a strategy behind all these losses after the first loss to Turkey. But now I think it's just obvious that China is not the same and it's very fragile. |

I mean.... yikes. sad for JLP to be crashing out this way. I know they're technically out yet, but it'll take an act of god for China to make it out of pool play.
