It's 11-9 in the 5th, and KYK only has 34 swings hitting .353. Bosko and Egonu get more swings in non-competitive sweeps. Kim Hee Jin has 40 swings and is hitting .150. WTF Lavarini? I think she's taken like two or three swings from the backrow. I asked that earlier, it has to be design because she's not even approaching or calling for the ball. Makes no sense to me. I guess Lavarini is gonna get Korea out of this group, which is pretty incredible given their personnel losses, so whatever he did worked.

Losing to BRAZIL and then KOREA in the same manner (5 sets) is the most DR thing ever.

South Korea just might beat Japan without Koga and DR/Japan becomes a winner-take-all match. OR, Japan beats Korea and already clinches a QF spot by the time DR/Japan plays. In that scenario, with DR's two 5-set losses, any win would likely advance them over Korea.

omg this is actually so awesome for Kim I'm so happy
Itsly/USA (my projection for first) is going to absolutely thrash them if they get fourth though...

Imagine Korea being the only Asian team in the QF's. I'm totally here for it.

I'm so curious to see if Turkey comes out totally deflated tonight or keeps the mojo going.
