trojansc how has DLC been this tournament? I haven't been able to watch much of the DRs matches, but I noticed she didn't play much the first 2-3 matches and then played against Kenya and Japan.

well, last time both teams A-teams met... DR won Was their A-team not at VNL? I though USA sent their B team from Pan Ams to the 2019 NORCECA and they lost vs DR. When was the last time our A-team and theirs met? Don't think it was 2019 NORCECAs but I could be wrong.

The DR sent their A Team to the VNL this year, but Brayelin Martinez, who is their best attacker, did not play against the USA (who also was playing with their line up at the time). Starting line up was: OH: MBH and Robinson MB: Dixon and Washington S: Poulter Opp: Drews Libero: JWO Kim Hill might have started but she was pulled. I canât remember if she started or was subbed in

On one of the articles, Karch said âI looked to the substitute box and itâs getting lonely there, only 3 peopleâ đ

Karch just took the World Cup team and played the reserves for the entire tournament.

I still wonder what happened with Ogbogu

She hasn't been terminating this Olympics. Not sure what's up there. She had close to 30 points against Japan at the VNL but was half as efficient as Rivera against Japan in Tokyo! Kwiek has a habit of rotating his pin hitters throughout a match, not just out of desperation or lack of success. I think it keeps everyone a little more fresh. No combination of the 5 pin hitters starting for DR is really going to surprise me. Yonkaira hits a heavy ball and her passing isn't really a dropoff (from DR's level) . Rivera has actually been good and she'll even play right-side depending on the formation. She's better and more efficient there, and allows Brayelin to take the tougher swings. Gaila Gonzales hasn't looked as good after her Turkey season with an abdominal injury, but she's still a threat offensively when she gets going.

I'm nervous ugh. Especially wondering if we'll see one of/both Thompson and Poulter back on the floor, if not the sidelines.

I donât see any way Poulter could play in that match after looking at the still photos of that ankle turn. Iâd be surprised if we saw her again this olympics. If JT is anything less than 100% they should be play Drewâs who is more than capable to push us through this match.
