IMO - I thought Mitrovic played decent during VNL and improved tremendously - while Howe kinda plateaued and did not. Savard does not being amazing termination, passing or defence to the table, so why the heck is she starting over Mitrovic? If Savard was an amazing defender or passer I would understand but this…. Boggles the mind. Poor Dre. A little late to put her in at 17-15 in a must win set. I think her VNL play made her deserving of more play than this? 100% agree she went for a 3 rotation NCAA banger to a full rotation OH in less than a year with crazy athleticism - she should be playing. |

Such a terrible loss for this Canadian program. They are better than PR at every position except for setter and libero, but still their game isn’t coming together. Bad decisions by the… staff. If they don’t make the WC it’s all on the horrible decisions made this match. Besides serving the FREAKING LIBERO, no subs were made, no defensive adjustments since back right was wide open and even easy little rolls hit the floor.
It is a disappointing time to be a Canadian women’s vb fan.

It's going to be Rivera's swan song. DLC should be there. The Martinez's probably wont? But you never know. Given its at home in the DR, it might be most of the A team. But that's a lot of volleyball |

Though I think Courtney Baker should be there fir that tournament and I am curious as to what she can do at the setter position |

This will drop them to 165 points, below colombia. (but keeps them ahead of the Czech Republic) The Pan Am cup doesn't have a ton of weight... but with the margins this thin? they should genuinely sit out the tournament. |
