Puerto Rico just cannot get over the DR hump. I really wish it was easier to see international records against other National Teams, PR has to be something like 1-35 against DR in the past 20 years.

And I'm sure they probably won at least another 10-15 straight before that. Just kind of ridiculous when you consider how inconsistent DR is and also that the level of play between DR and PR really isn't *THAT* big of a gap.

Puerto Rico is a really weak serving team, or at least over the past decade has generally just been very bad at it. They can't really take advantage of the glaring weakness DR has.

Fefa's topspin and Abercrombie's jump float gave them a bit of trouble today. It will be interesting to see Abercrombie's progression, she had a lot of errors in that 5th set. But overall, true. I thought Puerto Rico usually was a good passing team though. I also don't think it helps that they haven't had a ton of size over the years.
