Does anyone know if the broadcast will be re-aired on ESPN anywhere? I wonder if they will show a bit more of the celebration if it's shown again. They usually get posted on YouTube in a couple of weeks/months Will the replays on ESPN+ have more footage maybe? |

Just finished S2 of the 4s. I noticed 4 distinct instances of what I consider to be unsportsmanlike behavior by Whitmarsh. Good on SC to play steady and not be phased by her mind games.

I see, good observation. That match shouldn't be close to begin with. Early nerves by Pater who's new to this stage level, but the skill, athleticism, and ability of Seits and Pater far exceeds that of Whitmarsh and Van Winkle. |

That court also had the Van Winkle yellow card temper tantrum. Can’t recall seeing a yellow card given out at Gulf Shores. I was afraid Tessa’d channel that anger, but luckily she didn’t/couldn’t. 😝✌️ Also, Pater showed great control to overcome her emotions after the wind blew her shot wide on the first 2nd Set set point. From that point, she kept getting better and better through when they won the match. |

Heard a rumor Maya Gessner might be on the roster next season. Not sure why she didn't play her senior year at CAL.

My question is whether USC will have enough Maddies - they need a defender Maddie to pair with White. Otherwise White will have to switch to defense to pair with Goellner in order to keep alive her streak of playing with other Maddies. Unless there's another one on the roster that I don't know about.
I'm sure Dain will find some talent in the transfer portal, but USC is losing a lot of good players (as is UCLA). It will be interesting to see if the power structure/rankings shift a bit next year.

I thought Phillips had a senior day and won't be returning? I don't see Hong starting out of those 8, but there's also Karl, Showalter, Batenhorst as bigs and Kok and Bolyard look promising as incoming freshmen. I was so impressed with USC team. What's the future look like? 5-peat? They lose 6 starters. No more COVID year to snag top transfers as easily. But the coaches will have the team as ready as they can be. Stanford was young this year and will be strong. I don’t know who exactly ucla loses. |
