What is the side out percentage (so to speak) on set/match points for the Badgers this year? It's pretty bad. For example on the last two sets it was 1-7.
It even sucked against TCU.

Grome, Skinner, Tealer, and Rutherford were awesome down the stretch. Stumler just hasn’t played good this year and really cost us this game especially at the end of the last set. Eh she gave y’all a whole ass program, she can relax for a bit.

Kelly Sheffield post match on BTN: We had good serving, they made adjustments, made some amazing swings with some bad badgers errors at end of third set. Gave them hope. Thought the backcourt played well the first two sets, but outplayed UW in backcourt the last two sets. A good learning experience.
Rettke Student section has been great Team chemistry is great. Depth of team is unparalleled in her experience. Block needs to be a lot cleaner. Was a bit sloppy at times. Will be dealing with it.

Why couldn’t we have played this year’s Stumler in the final last year?😂 Because Lilley stole Texas’ lunch money Breakfast money. Supper money. Snack money. All the money.

It's not as bad as you think. I think a lot of it has to do with rotations UW is stuck in at the end of sets. That was certainly the case today with subs being used up.

Once Stumler starts playing better Kentucky will be right there with anyone. Her passing isn't any where near where it was this past spring.

Gio post match:
Mindset during last serving run: They talked about keeping confidence and the tendency for Kentucky to shift serve receive. She reacted. She feels like they did well in the first two sets and kentucky fought back the last two. Feels like this is a good win, but they have a lot to work on.
White post match: Felt like 2 hs 14 minutes. Saw a lot of similarities between the programs Expected Kentucky to fight back. Kentucky served a lot better from the 3rd on. Net violation and 3 SEs gifts them the 3rd set. Badgers need to execute better. Discusses how they picked up some attacks in backcourt, but they need to work on others. Gio saw how they made adjustments in SR that they talked about and attacked them. Madi Skinner hit some amazing angles. The student and band made a big difference.

My opinion: Kentucky played about as well as I've seen them this year. Despite early dominance, the badgers were lucky to get through with a 3-1 win. Orzol may have changed the calculation for UW, especially with late subs.
