I’ll say it again, siding out left and playing left are two vastly different things. At best Robinson playing left improves one area and weakens a more important area, passing.

Badger hitters Demps 11-2-24, 0.188 Loberg 9-5-30, 0.133 Jardine 1-2-5. -0.200 Middles and RS Rettke 16-2-24, 0.563 Robinson 14-3-27, 0.407 Hart 8-1-17, 0.412 could someone double check Demps’ stats. Cause that efficiency does not match the kills/errors/attemps

If Devyn played left she wouldn’t have to pass ever because she would crush every ball and the other team would never get to serve I assume?

If Devyn played left she wouldn’t have to pass ever I would love to see Dev play on the left. She has the arm and mobility to do it, and I think it would be a great move for her future professionally or on Team USA. Combine that move with Anna Smrek on the right (ala Lutz) and you would really have something! I don’t think it will happen this year unless more OH’s get injured but that lineup would be unstoppable.

I mean, you don't just pick up passing as a sophomore in college.

She wouldn’t need to pass In rotations 5 and 6 you pass orzol, Boyer, Barnes In rotation 1 orzol and Barnes If rotation 1 gets bad bring in Loberg to sub for smrek at opposite until you get out of that rotation.

In the same statement, you said "it'd be a great move for her professionally" but she won't have to pass. 🙄 Play that out...she doesn't pass but plays outside. She can't pass as a result. All the time she spent in college was wasted because she can't pass and didn't develop at a position in which she would excel professionally. 😳

And she's going to be great there.
