IIRC, the third set (and closing out sets) has been the Achilles for this program for years. We thought the shortened break might help, but it hasn't. I don't get it. They aren't going to get away with it when they starting losing one of the first two sets.

Serving run continues to 18-15. Then she serves JUUUUUUUST barely long.
Then Orzoł puts a hole in the floor. Holy Christ.
Then she goes back to serve, blows them up, gets them discombobulated, and their RS hits smack into the Rettke/Loberg block.

UWGB hung in tough. At times they served well, they blocked pretty well, they had a couple OHs that could hit. Pretty impressive against a team that has made Baylor and Kentucky "look bad" this year.. I'll be interested to see how they do in the Horizon League.
One interesting note: in between the first and second sets, while the coaches were huddling with one another, it was MJ Hamell who 'had' the players' huddle, and she was pretty intently describing something to them; definitely not 'fooling around', definitely VB related.
(And I'm putting a couple other things in the main UW thread, more appropriate there, IMO.)
