So Coach K received some bourbon after playing the Pete Dye Course at French Lick - know nothing about bourbon so what is Jefferson’s Ridiculously Small Batch Wood Experiment Straight Bourbon Whiskey? 🤔 Should I open it for set 5? 🙄 So that's some experimental whiskey... made with novel aging methods. But it's probably pretty damn good so pour a glass and let us know! Thanks - says “collection of 200 ml bottles featuring different chars and wood finishes” so sipping a tiny amount and saluting Boilers and Buckeyes on best D1 🏐 match of the year - go get PSU RR 👏 get the bananas ready 🍌🍌🍌🍌

Purdue fans made the difference. They beat Ohio state twice last year in Columbus. Boilers just have their number True, but for this match specifically, it definitely felt like the fans made a difference.

She's a big part of the reason they lost that set. Just provided absolutely nothing. Can't swing that hard in sets 1-3 only to have absolutely nothing in the tank in Set 5. I don't know, man. That feels like an emotional take right after a tough tough loss. I get that. But Londot just poured her soul out on that court. You can't be holding back something in reserve in case it goes to 5. That's not how it works. It's her teammates' and coaches' responsibility to find different answers so she's not leaned on so much. Not her responsibility to take some points off. I said "set" not "match".... Her and Murr are what got them the set wins. She's the 2nd best player on the team and one of the best finishers in the nation. So much fun to watch her. But she needs to learn to not empty the tank by the 4th set. That's it.... learning moment for a young player.

It’s nights like these where my B1G bias comes out. Both teams should feel really good with where they’re at. OSU may have taken the loss but what an insane environment. Congrats to both teams.

Total differnt styles, but Londot is very terminal. One way or another the point is over. It reminds me of Stacey Gordons freshman year.Looks like the year before stacey came in Sue Caligaris- Italy 4th place team in Big ten with a 0-30 record Erin Baker MB MB from Bexley Dana ? Anne Botica OH from Canada ? ? Bottom row Backup Setter - think she had a twin sisster katie Virtue S Shelly Drager from Milwaukee OH Susie Stiling MB DS from Central OH Stone alwasy loved the smaller all around players at that point I think Botica was 6.1 I attended most of the matches that year.

The Badgers were able to beat the Buckeyes twice with Stacey the Great and that loaded team that year, which was impressive. I think Londot is a heck of a player, but I also think she is probably realistically vying to become the second best player in program history. Gordon and Nnamani may have had the best left side seasons concurrently in history, considering their situations, in 2004. Fawcett and Hodge were great, no doubt, but they had multiple other All Americans around them.

DS from central Ohio was Nikki Cisco from Dublin Coffman. Anne Botica's Canadian VB HoF page has some good pics from that era. I was a student during that era as well, and went to many many matches.

And now, the rubber meets the road -- early in the season when a B1G win is needed, who will impose their will? Can the boiler operate efficiently with nuts in the system? Yes. Never in doubt.
