So Colorado losses to WSU 0-3 and Utah beats Washington 3-2, then Colorado beats Utah 3-0.. Looks like the Pac is just as messy as the big.. I think the chances of the ACC getting 2 regional hosts are skyrocketing!

This is a repeat performance of exactly what happened to Utah after their 5 set win over Nebraska in Lincoln... next match go to Boise St. and got spanked 3-1 and just left everyone scratching their heads! Emotional 5 set win over Washington... whoever they play next gets a walkover win! Say it ain't so VBP. I feel bad for Dani. I think my new strategy is going to be to pick Utah to win matches they are the underdog in ranking, and pick their opponent when Utah is ranked higher! |

Buffs sweep Utah. Kinda like when Utah lost to Boise State right after beating Nebraska. Utah is not seemingly capable of backing up big wins. Good for COL though. They played well.

Buffs sweep Utah. Kinda like when Utah lost to Boise State right after beating Nebraska. Utah is not seemingly capable of backing up big wins. Good for COL though. They played well. They look like a good spoiler team in the tourney, just don't bet on them to go all the way. |

Honestly, I just think CU had a bad match against WSU. Every team has them. Colorado hates that Pullman trip. Better now than in November.
Clayton and Tabron both hitting over .450! Wow!
Buffs block and floor defense was on point too.

Obviously they are a great performance "every other match" team so the best they will do come tournament time is knock off someone in first round and follow that up with laying an egg in the second round! |

Nor is it easy in the mountains, as Utah and CU usually both have talent (I remember at least one match of Nebraska consternation when CU was in the Big 12 after a match in Boulder too). |
