Utah winning over Colorado in Boulder is what many folks on here said last season, and Colorado won....and that was with a better roster for Utah. We shall see. Yep.

Just watched the replay of this match on PAC-12 Network. Colorado was exceptional in almost every aspect. Other than too many Utah hitting errors, it wasn't like the Utes were a complete mess. CU just had a VERY good game. Colorado's block had Drews' number and then she was making mistakes trying to go around a really good block. I haven't seen CU be this good at floor defense either. We all know Clayton can hit well, but Tabron and Kuehl seem to be getting better each match. Tabron was sick on Wednesday (her words) in the loss at WSU, but she came back and hit .500 on 13 kills against the #15 team. She has A LOT of ceiling potential.

Utah goes down tonight just like Ohio St, Wisconsin, and Florida. They just did it faster in less sets than the others.

I actually thought Utah looked flat. It was the same way they looked in the spring in Boulder. My guess is CU will see a completely different team in Utah.

Agreed, that was not the Drews we are used to seeing. Utah also had one disastrous rotation those first two sets, can't let that happen if they hope to be competitive. For CU was not expecting Kuehl to be such an upgrade over Fara.

That was only because CU established their block from the beginning. They had 5 stuff blocks in the 1st set, and many others that were over. That put Utah and Drews in a bind in trying to figure out around the block or do a roll/tip, etc. CU covered most of her tips too. You can tell she was 2nd guessing her hits. Coach Jesse literally said that they are going to camp out and focus on Drews and if they lost, it wouldn't be because of Drews. That showed.

She still has time to get better at hitting. Fara was a seasoned 5 year veteran last season.

She is also better in front of the setter than Fara was. She is also doing a much better job with ball setter ball hitter. I know some on here see her as a right side but I am happy with where she is as a sophomore in the middle.
