Batenhorst with her height and arm reach has a unique ability to hit OOS or imperfectly set balls, with deceptive speed, IMO. I think that Batenhorst and Krause are running pretty much neck and neck. Their hitting numbers are good, the errors are being held down and I think they will work on the block. Its like six of one and half a dozen of the other. Generally, in years past, the errors these girls are having were referred to as FRESHMAN errors. They will work it out. IMHO. GBR Oh,by the way, Nebraska grows Popcorn too.

I think Lindsey and Ally are pretty much locks! My observation is Ally has played consistently in her U20 and 21 NE play. She is a deceptively effective hitter IMO, which I believe is related to her height and reach. I suspect enrolling early and practicing with NE last spring has likely improved her game. It's almost like she is a red shirt freshman in that regard. Lindsey has been coming on of late. Nothing deceptive about her hits ... power is her game. It appears she is developing her hitting technique to be more than power. She is obviously a fierce competitor that has embraced her role at OPP. She appears to be adopting well to right side hitting and blocking. All of the freshman have great potential. It should be fun the next 4 years watching them play and develop. GBR!

you’ve seen Nebraska. You know the other top teams. You know which hitters would’ve been unseated by the Nebraska freshman. Providing examples isn’t going to convince you, bc you’re just going to dish out statistics that say otherwise. You’re just looking for reasons to punctuate the fact Nebraska hasn’t had a hot start and by normal standards, is having an under whelming season thus far. And the only reason you’re coming on their threads and attempting to punctuate that is because Texas is #1. You’re consistent year in and year out. We all know what you’re trying to do here. That’s a whole lot of over sensitivity from someone who I wasn’t even quoting. Get a grip. If some poster isnt shy about throwing out global statements that the Husker freshmen hitters can unseat returning starters at other “top” programs, they have no reason to be shy in providing some specific examples. Well they’re starting at Nebraska, so I think it’s somewhat safe to say they’d be doing that in other top programs. I was making a general point, any specific example I’d give would obviously be debatable with not real proof they would or wouldn’t.
