Dallas advanced to face Team Hawaii in the second Men’s Semi around 6:30pm. Women’s Semis will start playing soon.

Will they be streaming any of this? same question. I’m guessing they are prohibiting anyone from live streaming this so they can drive viewers to their post-produced videos that they’ll put up on YouTube at some point.

Mid west won the women’s and Hawaii won the men’s. Not a lot of streams that I could find, especially from the later matches. I just saw a few posts from one of the sponsor clubs.

Well not sure what the point is in watching the YouTube content now. Thanks guys.
Half kidding. I could have avoided the thread.

Here are some highlights that I found on Youtube. Sander looks good. I can't remember if it was the beach or the indoor forum but there were a handful of people saying he may struggle to make the transition to beach. After seeing this he will be just fine playing doubles. He was probably the best attacker there.

Just watched the semis, CA v Texas. Is it just me, or did Casebeer look off? REALLY off. I guess it’s off-season, so prob not jumping like mid season form. Peter looked really strong.

Agreed on Casebeer, but I thought last 4 man he was the weak link on the team as well. Just think 4 man isn't his specialty. Also such a shame that McKibbin bros are hurt and can't play their event. This is the event where Riley would get to shine and be the star. I think in general the McKibbins are better in 4 man vs 2 man so hopefully they can continue these and they become regular events.

I feel like Casebeer looked no different than the last 4 man. He finally made an impact when he got his block going. Connole looked really solid. Wish Roschitz was able to play. Totally agree on Riley. His game is perfect for fours. It'd be fun to see him playing with Sander in one of these.
The video was a nice production, but knowing the outcome I found myself a little bored watching. That said, I will certainly tune in for the other videos.

So with the McKibbins injured Team Hawaii added Tri and Taylor Sander. Was that an upgrade from their last 4-man event? And California replaced Chaim with Chase. Same question. And where do the McKibbins fit in when they return? Injuries aside, I kind of feel like the continuity would be better if they kept the same lineups. Women’s teams were even more shuffled. Make the champions defend and see if anyone else can put together a new team to beat them.

I feel like since the McKibbins run everything they probably get to decide the teams. Haven't seen Hawaii highlights but have to assume Taylor Sander is big upgrade from Maddy. His serve looked great from few highlights I saw. I assume Hawaii would have just gone with 6 man squad and rotated? Riley would definitely set so Trevor would be dumped for sure. Riley has always said Taylor Crabb is his favorite player to set. Also Taylor Sander is not from Hawaii so technically the best real all Hawaiian lineup would be Taylor Crabb outside, Tri middle, Maddy right side and Riley setting, while Trevor %*$# talks from the sidelines.
The guys from Out of System (Joe & Gage Worsley and Micah ma'a) said they want to get team and I think they would be really fun to see how those guys could compete. They dominated on the grass this summer but sand would be much tougher for them with their lack of size. Joe setting Micah would still be very tough to stop on any surface. They did poll to see who people think their 4th should be. They threw out adding Kofi (middle from UCLA) who played with Micah for some size. Hopefully we get to see these guys compete in this tourney going forward.

It’s interesting that none of these 4-man pro teams has a true middle. Seems like that might be the best way to gain an advantage. Joe setting Kofi with Gage passing might be truly unstoppable.
