another day, another frozen sidearm stats page It came back, froze again, then came back again. Anyway, first set to Baylor, 25-16. K-State didn't play poorly, per se. They just don't have the athletes Baylor does. If they win a set in these two matches it will be a bit of a moral victory for them.

K-State has to serve tough and dig to give themselves a chance on offense. The first set they didn’t do well at either.

service errors irk me much irkage Lol, I think you focus on it too much. Pressure off of serve is absolutely one of THE key factors to winning a competitive match. A really good team is going to tend towards a 65% side out rate. The team that can move the needle on that will win the set. Given how regularly side outs occur anyway, sacrificing service errors for aggressive serving that gets the other team on its heels is vital. Now, true, too much of it is bad, but not being effective at the service line is a recipe for disaster.
