I like Baylor and Minnesota moving up. Not sure why Kentucky dropped so much though. I 'dropped' Kentucky from #6 last week to #11 this week - so I am among those that went that way. For me - the big wins on their schedule don't look all that big with time. Stanford at home in 5 sets - yes, but Stanford is barely in the Top 20 right now. Given what Creighton has done - I could no longer put Kentucky ahead of them.

UCLA at 12 is interesting… I mean on paper a win at Stanford is big, but watching the game it didn’t seem to be a well played match I think some voters are struggling with how to rank the PAC. I know I am. It really is pretty simple. Just think back to the days when Stanford was loaded with Plummer, Hentz, Gray, and Fitzmorris. At that time, the Pac-12 was one great team and a bunch of good teams. Now, it's simply a bunch of good teams.

I'm one of the 12 that kept Florida in the Poll. Not because of there performance, but because they just have too much talent and they will get it figured out. If they split with Ole Miss this week they will be gone from my ballot next week though... Like most voters have stated I struggled with ranking PAC teams and placed them where I think they are right now, but it could be totally different in 3 weeks!
1. Texas 2. Pittsburgh 3. Louisville 4. Baylor 5. Minnesota 6. Wisconsin 7. Purdue 8. Ohio St. 9. Kentucky 10. BYU 11. Oregon 12. UCLA 13. Stanford 14. Georgia Tech 15. Penn St 16. Utah 17. Nebraska 18. Washington St. 19. Washington 20. Colorado 21. Tennessee 22. Creighton 23. Florida St. 24. Florida 25. Pepperdine

I know I am. Here is how I sorted - and like everyone else it is very difficult. And then to figure out where they fit among everyone else: 7) UCLA - Add Stanford to Georgia Tech and they now have a couple very good wins. 12) Utah - Still have enough quality wins to elevate them ahead of the rest of the conference for now. 14) Oregon - Big win at home against Penn State and only 1 loss 16) Colorado - Win at Illinois and the win this week against Utah. Only loss @ Washington State now looks like a 'good' loss. 18) Stanford - Too many losses to be higher. The win against Florida doesn't look all that impressive anymore. 21) Washington State - A couple really nice wins this week puts them back in the T25 and their road losses to UNLV and South Carolina aren't terrible - neutral site against Purdue and Pitt. 22) Washington - I saw no reason to have them ahead of Washington State. I dropped Ohio State down 12 spots from my last ballot. Really only have road wins against Illinois and Pepperdine at this point.

Penn St. hopping above G Tech, with G Techs only loss to a team that beat a team Penn St. lost to.

Ohio State really dropped for me this week - down to #17. 9-2 with both losses on the road against Purdue and Penn State isn't bad. But, right now the Washington win no longer looks so special. Their next best win is over Texas Tech. Their resume now looks rather empty for a T10 team.

I was high on them the first couple weeks, but when I was making my ballot last night, couldn’t find reasons to not drop them lower and lower.

I had Ohio St. at 5 last week, and Penn St. at 21 after 2 more losses on west coast trip and I understand your thinking, but I felt Ohio St. two losses this week were both on the road and also could be the result of having several tough 5 set matches that wore them down and they might have the resume of a top 10 team but will see how things look over next week or two. Penn St I could not move up 10+ places, but I did move them up 6 places so if they keep winning I don't have a problem moving them up each week (I do believe Penn St is a good 11 - 17 team right now).

But like, do they? Washington was their newsworthy win of the non con...that win is looking less and less remarkable given how Washington has looked. Other than them, they didn't play anyone except Notre Dame if you count them, who just got swept by Miami.

Anything below top 3 is impossibly murky. I had a hard time figuring it all out.

The margin for error is razor thin this season maybe we will see some major upsets come tourney time. Who knows though the cream of the crop tend to iron out the kinks and be ready come December but as of right now on any night I can see most teams 4-20 taking each other out.

It doesn't really mad how bad Florida's season is at this point, now that a seed looks unlikely. They're going to end up with a first-round match against UCF, and will play at Miami or Florida St. in the second round. They've just got to peak their season to those two pretty winnable matches, and then at that point they're a Sweet 16 team and Mary can pretend nothing was wrong. Regionalization has really got to go.
