ASU isn't as strong as UCLA, so even without Oglivie, Stanford should be able to win. I'll give ASU a set though, but Stanford better be careful, as once ASU gets a set they can get on a roll. Hopefully Beard and Francis make fewer errors this match.

We should know about 6:30pm PST tonight. If Oglivie had any type of concussion, very unlikely she plays because of precautionary time built into the concussion protocol. My understanding of the protocol is once you get medical clearance (no longer have concussive symptoms), then you need to wait a required number of days depending upon whether this is a 1st concussion, 2nd concussion, etc. After that period is over and you still have no symptoms, then you can start practicing lightly and work your way back to full intensity. During that period of time if any symptoms reoccur then its rinse and repeat. If she didn't initially have a concussion (probably based upon medical exam last Sunday afternoon) and after a few days there are no symptoms, then that's the scenario that might have her in the lineup tonight.

Stanford has been a reliable defensive team, but tends to fall apart when the blocking and D take a vacation. I suspect they'll be OK without Oglivie tonight since the other DS's had a few days to adjust to new duties, but passing might be weaker.

I agree Beaven should look more comfortable at Libero with about four days to learn her area to cover and her duties in that position.
I heard L. Smith has been practicing with the team and is available. I don't know if Hambly will sub her in or not as the two MBs started to get a semblance of blocking rhythm occasionally last match.
There is not one team in the PAC-12 including ASU that Stanford should take for granted. All are capable of beating the Cardinal.

If L. Smith were to start would she play over Campbell or Vicini?
Campbell is the veteran but Vicini has been putting up better numbers.

To address your question directly, I have no idea whether Campbell or Vicini would be favored as a starter; probably depend on how they looked at practice this week.
