Savannah Rennie 19 kills, 3 aces, 3 blocks, 7 digs (.370)…. Had the last three kills to come back from down 14-11
And Lexi Rodriguez for freshmen. 2 aces and 17 digs in 3 sets last night

WCC
Kari Geissberger (OH, LMU) didn't play set one, which LMU lost. She played the rest of the match, which LMU won 3-1, and had 22 kills, an assist, 3 digs and a block assist. She hit .633 and was key to LMU's win.
For Portland, Jayde Harris (OH) had 19 kills and two aces in the four sets. She hit .516
Big 12
Molly Phillips (Texas) had 9 kills, 0 errors, hit .500, 2 digs, 6 block assists in 4 sets vs Iowa State
SEC
Val Green (OH) hit .469 and had 16 kills, 3 digs, and a block assist in Auburn's sweep of Georgia
Jackie Barrett (S, Auburn) had a double-double with 27 assists, 17 digs, 4 kills (.429), and 2 block assists

Also for WCC
Rachel Ahrens (OH, Pepperdine) had 12 Kills hitting .417, 10 Digs, an Ace and a Block in sweep over Gonzaga.
Will have more for WCC after BYU and SD square off tomorrow, as well as the rest of WCC play on Saturday.

Kenzie Koerber (OPP, BYU) 17 kills in 3 sets on a .593 clip, also had 4 blocks and 4 digs in sweep over #21 ranked San Diego.

She even had three assists for good measure. I know BYU only plays once this week instead of twice, but I'd be hard-pressed not to vote for her for WCC POY, especially considering that this was the most important match of the WCC season so far. |
