I just think their low error philosophy is what makes the tough serving inconsistent. It’s hard to be aggressive when rule number one is not missing serves |

I'm going to need a nap before heading out to Crisler, the 9:00 PM ET start is going to be rough. I think there will be a decent student turnout for this one as there will be a lot of giveaways happening.
I was very pleased with Michigan's performance at the Pav; it was probably their best of the year. They are going to need to figure out how to carry that over for three complete sets though, and I think that's a lot to ask. Michigan hasn't beaten the Gophers since 2014 and as long as Samedy is on the other side of the net, I have a hard time feeling very confident about our chances. But maybe the new floor and a rowdy crowd can swing momentum; maybe Johnson finally finds a connection with Jones; maybe we can pass our way out of a paper bag just enough to compete.

This weekend has me a bit flummoxed. Here we are several weeks into the conference schedule and I could see the Gophers finishing somewhere from winning the conference all of the way down to a 6th place finish. I am confident they have a better team than the one that finished the spring season yet it feels like we haven't come close to hitting our potential. Winning both matches this weekend would be a positive sign but anything less than that would feel a bit wobbly.
