So that was fun! I don't think Michigan has won as an underdog since 2018, it was really nice to see them close this one out. Vollapalooza thoughts:

• Some great rallies and amazing floor defense from both sides; I thought that rally the Gophers won at 23's in the third was going to be the match decider
• I can't sing the praises of Money May enough, she has become the heart of the team. She plays with joy and that wicked serve of hers kept Minny off balance all night
• She didn't really score, but this might have been Murray's best match as a Wolverine. Her passing was on point all night and that dig kill was insane
• So incredibly happy for Abbey Malinowski, a senior who shas een more time on the floor as a DS than as an OH; coming in ice cold off the bench in the 5th to get a huge kill and go on a little service run
• I thought Shaff played really well; I don't know what's going on with her and the middles though 
• Johnson continues to have her own struggles setting the middles in front of her; but her defense tonight was tremendous
• Landfair did not look 100% walking off the court tonight; maybe her back?
• I kept waiting for Samedy to go full Samedy and just put the team on her back. She played great defensively but we were fortunate that this wasn't her best night on offense
• Please BTN overlords, do not give us a 9:00 p.m. start ever again

I think Husemann is starting to develop a stronger middle presence. She hits with more confidence with each passing match. On the other side, I get frustrated when Myers can't put down an overpass or sends over lollypops.

I like Wenaas' play but she seems to tire out as the match progresses and Hugh needs to sit her down late in the match. I hope she develops more stamina.
