According to google images, facilities look great. They were once top of a tough Big Sky conference. I think the could attract a solid candidate. |

I don't think covid sympathies apply here; Sarah was 40-84 Overall and 21-44 in the A-10 - Including 2-25 (2-14) this year...and all but 3 of their losses were sweeps (2 4-setters and 1 5-setter). Seems like things were not heading in the right direction; no knock on Sarah really, just looking at the numbers. Is there any reason why GW can't be better than this? |

I'm sure there are issues just like at every non-power 5, but they were 59 in RPI as recent as 2014. |

Probably because the salary to live in the DC area is a joke for the entire staff.
I knew assistants that had to live with 4-6 other folks just to make ends meet. Hard to survive in that area for 27k for an assistant.
This was several years ago, so might have improved but I know someone that got offered the head gig a while back and it was in the 60’s.
Area and education should be a draw but shared facility, average locker room, lackluster weight training/sports med facilities

And those facilities issues… we’re talking about the A10. Yeah, Dayton and VCU are miles above everybody else, but I don’t think we would’ve seen a coaching change if GW had lost to them but were beating Rhode Island, Fordham, La Salle, etc. |
