What happened to Lauren? Thought they were turning that thing around there. 3-22 this year. oof yeah that might do it. Interesting to see how quickly ADs pull the rug out from some of these coaches after the pandemic. Already getting a feeling this offseason is going to be a wild ride. |

Could Western Oregon be opening up at the end of the season? What happened to Stacy Metro. She's in the team picture but someone else is listed as the interim head coach.

So I guess Iowa was on the hot seat after all. It says they are firing her without cause so it sure sounds like they are going to pay her through her contract in 2024 I think it was. I really didn’t expect them to do that. If you are paying a few hundred thousand in a buyout, what will you pay the next coach?
Robert Morris was first place in the NEC in 2019. I somehow missed that they moved to the Horizon League, and of course there was a pandemic, and neither of those was a good enough excuse for struggling? RMC has some expectations I guess!
Interesting that they make these moves before signing day. It used to be you made moves in December and had some control of your incoming recruiting class. By making moves now are they trying to NOT sign players so they have more money to shop the portal? Or is this just a coincidence and don’t read anything into it as far as a new trend?

That signing day piece is really interesting imo. Gives both student athletes and administration more flexibility this way. |

I Noticed the Robert Morris release didn’t thank the coach or wish him well. |

Do we think that firing coaches mid-season (before signing day) will become more of a trend going forward? Seems to be more than normal in football and volleyball this fall but maybe I'm not remembering as well as I should.
