What is the Big West tie breaker for the conference auto? I assume they still don't have a conference tournament. Pablo slightly likes Hawaii, but the remaining schedule slightly favors UCSB. Could come down to the last conference match, UCSB at Hawaii. After todays matches, UCSB will have played 4 of 6 conference matches at home, and Hawaii will have played 4 of 6 matches on the road. This might be the difference in Pablo??

I haven't dug too deep on this yet but there is no way in H-E-double hockey sticks that Penn State will get sent to LA. Far more likely that the Committee will bend over backwards to let them host. I wouldn't be too sure about that. The last two full tournaments in 2019 and 2018 they were placed in the Stanford region.

Pitt vs Michigan in 2nd Round again- ugh brings me 2018 nightmares. This is great work except that you Sam Houston State is in the Texas and Baylor Subregionals- might be missing a 1-Bid conference champ or an at-large (I didn't look closely enough to figure out which)

They were placed in the Stanford region (round of 16/8) after they initially hosted the subregional at State College (64/32). This bracket has them going to LA for the first two rounds.

They were 24-5 in 2019 and 23-7 in 2018 after a grueling B1G schedule with the facilities to host, certainly deserving of a subregional.

Bracketology is always a good read, but this one is wild!
It’s be interesting to graph each team’s prospects over the course of the season as their records change.

Your wording just made it sound to me like they were sent to Stanford in the first two rounds as opposed to Round of 16 and 8 (which would be the case here if they get sent to UCLA and do not host a subregional)

I’m surprised Notre Dame isn’t even on the bubble Notre Dame isn’t really a bubble team because we know their fate. If they are .500 or better, they’re in. Don’t have to worry about their resume.

The Big East conference champ will get an RPI Futures boost. I think there is still a very good chance that the winner's RPI is going to be too good not to get a seed - unless the winner isn't Creighton/Marquette, or they fall on their face during the regular conference season. Someone is likely to add UConn in the first round of the conference tournament, and that is an RPI plus - plus getting that finals win. Nebraska sure looks like a likely seed - so could still end up with two seeds from that state. Creighton looks great on paper. But, I've been watching them play lately, and they're struggling. They lost to a St. John's team that has not been very great, losing to teams like Cornell, UConn, Providence, getting swept by Butler, going 5 with Fordham. Creighton did sweep DePaul at home last night, but even then, it wasn't very pretty. So, I have a little reservations about them getting a seed. Marquette doesn't have as good of a resume, though Texas A&M being good helps.

What is the Big West tie breaker for the conference auto? I assume they still don't have a conference tournament. Pablo slightly likes Hawaii, but the remaining schedule slightly favors UCSB. I actually thought the Big West tie-breaker after H2H was total sets won/L in conference play from what I remember one year it was discussed, it seemed kind of strange to me. Maybe @bigwestfan2 will know.
