Anybody see Michella Chester's picks for the tournament lol Has Kansas vs Texas Tech in the first round, Towson in twice, and missing the NEC champ Well, there goes my theory that trojansc was really Michella Chester! If anyone really thought that, I'm kind of insulted.

What is the Big West tie breaker for the conference auto? I assume they still don't have a conference tournament. Pablo slightly likes Hawaii, but the remaining schedule slightly favors UCSB. I actually thought the Big West tie-breaker after H2H was total sets won/L in conference play from what I remember one year it was discussed, it seemed kind of strange to me. Maybe @bigwestfan2 will know. I thought it was record against the next placed team in the conference? I don’t know why I think it’s this, but I could of sworn I read it somewhere

23.14.2 In the event a postseason Conference Volleyball Tournament is not held, the Conference regular season champion in volleyball shall be the automatic qualifier. (Revised 7/17/00.) 23.14.2.1 In the event that two teams tie for first place in the final standings, the following tie-breaking formula shall be used to determine the automatic qualifier: 1. The winner of the two-match series between the tied teams shall be declared the automatic qualifier. 2. If still tied, the team with the best record in conference matches against common opponents beginning at the top of the standings and working down the standings until the tie is broken shall be declared the automatic qualifier. Ties among teams at the top of the standings should be broken first to establish a ranked order. 3. If still tied, the team with the best total win/loss set record in conference matches against all conference opponents, including the matches between the tied teams, shall be declared the automatic qualifier. 4. If still tied, the team with the best win/loss set record against common conference opponents, excluding the team with which it is tied, beginning at the top of the standings and working down until the tie is broken shall be declared the automatic qualifier. Ties at the top of the standings should be broken first to establish a ranked order. 5. If still tied, the team with the highest point ratio in all conference matches shall be declared the automatic qualifier. (Adopted 1/7/96, Revised 5/7/96, 5/6/97, 6/9/98, 8/27/98, 6/8/99, 7/17/00, 5/11/09) 23.14.2.2 In the event more than two teams tie for first place in the final standings, the following tie-breaking formula shall be used: 1. The teams shall be ranked based on win-loss record against the other tied teams. If one team is ranked ahead of the other teams, it shall be declared the automatic qualifier. If a team is ranked behind the other teams, the remaining teams (if still tied based on wins and losses against the other tied teams) shall be ranked based on the two-way tie-breaker formula. 2. If more than two teams are still tied, the teams shall be compared based on the best record in conference matches against common opponents beginning at the top of the standings and working down until the tie is broken. Ties among teams at the top of the standings should be broken first to establish a ranked order. If one team is ranked ahead of the other teams, it shall be declared the automatic qualifier. If a team is ranked behind the other teams, the remaining teams (if still tied based on wins and losses against the other tied teams) shall be compared based on the two-way tie-breaker formula. 3. If still tied, the team with the best total win/loss set record in conference matches against all opponents, including the matches between the tied teams, shall be declared the automatic qualifier. 4. If still tied, the team with the best win/loss set record against common conference opponents, excluding the team with which it is tied, beginning at the top of the standings and working down until the tie is broken, shall be declared the automatic qualifier. Ties among teams at the top of the standings should be broken first to establish a ranked order. I like how the Ivy has a 1 match playoff for the title if there is a tie (I believe this is the case).

Anybody see Michella Chester's picks for the tournament lol Has Kansas vs Texas Tech in the first round, Towson in twice, and missing the NEC champ Penn State at #6...... current RPI of #15 - 1-3 against quality teams in the non-conference, futures RPI of #20. I'm just not sure why this woman always throws out the dumbest things. The majority of what she says is fine and reasonable, but then she just goes nuts, and it's usually something to do with sucking up to a Big 10 team.

Stanford to Madison is just cruel to the Badgers. Yeah, except for the Badgers might finally beat them! Well they better beat them this season because next season’s going to be a lot harder without Rettke, Hilley and Loberg.

Madison Regional - Region #4
(4) Wisconsin vs. Milwaukee Stanford vs. Notre Dame Rereading in detail and came across the above predicted 2nd round matchup. I have to ask. Trojan. Friend. Are you TRYING to give all the Badgers fans panic attacks? We still have PTSD from 2016.

If all the seeds stay the same and all the teams that make the tournament stay the same as in the bracket on the first page, I noticed Loyola Marymount is getting sent to Tennessee, which would of course also be a fly-in like Stanford would be to Madison.
I could totally see the committee just straight up swapping Stanford to go to to Tennessee and Loyola Marymount to go to Madison in that scenario, even if the Tennessee subregional would be 1-2-2-4 and the Madison subregional would be 1-3-3-4.

The NCAA approved the 'day-of-rest' in between Regional Semifinals and Regional Finals, so according to to the NCAA Tournament Schedule, *all* Regional Semifinals will be held on Thursday and the Regional Finals will be held on Saturday.
I guess this is best for uniformity and having all four NCAA Semifinalists with the same days of rest before the Final Four begins, but it would have been cool from a viewership standpoint to have the Regional Semifinals spread out more between Thursday and Friday, and not have early start time for a couple of the Regional Finals on Saturday.
