Minnesota gets a late start match that ends close to midnight last night. Tough, emotional 5 set loss. Turnaround to an early evening start with travel. Just a guess but I wouldn't be shocked to see Landfair out with her continued back woes.
Michigan State winning would not be much of an upset.

The Big Ten is deep (and weird) this year. But MSU is nowhere close to Michigan’s caliber. A loss here would, IMHO, be pretty crushing. |

I'm sure that last night's defeat was painful for the team.
I'm sure that they don't feel sorry for themselves.
I'm sure they want to tap into their resources as a squad AND individually even given the late night finish, and early start today.
Will they restore faith in themselves or continue to struggle?
Struggle isn't necessarily a bad thing when it is strength working through and overcoming adversity
I hope MSU plays well and the MN rises to the occasion.
If they are a good team they will pick themselves up, shake off the sting, and perform confidently.
One thing for sure:
Their serve & serve receive have to return to form.
No double digit SEs and rare service aces.
Pass well enough to reach .250 hitting

Also, it’s not really that much travel; just a 1 hour bus trip to East Lansing that I assume they made last night. |

So when I go to BTN +, it’s telling me 7:00 eastern start. Gopher Sports and Michigan State both say 6:30 eastern.
Sure hope they turn the cameras on when the match starts and not at 7.

Just noticed this myself. Both schools have the 5:30 CT/6:30 ET start time but both links Stats and Video, have 7 ET. This worries me that I will miss the first set. Poo. |
