Monza has been in an absolute freefall in the standings without Grozer - remember when they beat Lube in the SuperCup semis earlier in the year??? Very different story now This👆 But Grozer had some injury issues last year too and didn't get along with the Piacenza management staff either....(very few do)

Perugia signs Leon to 3 year extention for 1.5 million Euro per year!
Huge jump and really good for Men's Pro leagues
Also looks like Simon is going from Lube to Piacenza next year.

Just saw the Milano-Monza match. Agree with the observations here. Porro's location has definitely improved. And ball distribution too. He doesn't overload Patry as much. This is probably the best Milano have played all season. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and consistent.

Taranto win in 5 against Padova courtesy of a block from Dosanjh in the 5th: 21-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-17, 12-15.
I thought Zoppellari played well off the bench for Padova in favor of Zimmerman. Weber played well too (even served well if you would believe it). They still lost though. :/ Very high error game for them, this one.

Milano folds under the service/blocking pressure after some early leads. Perugia takes set 1 That service run by Plotnytskyi late in the first set was insane.

Jaeschke with a clutch kill to end a big Leon run, and then gets the set winning kill as Milano wins the third set to extend the match. Perugia has a sub at L.

That last point by Leon looked suspiciously like a carry.

Perugia wins in four. Milano kept it close and had leads but Perugia was too good from the service line and of course they are deadly at the net.

Perugia's bench stepped up nicely too, especially the libero and Oleh from the service line.
Porro's location today was a bit suspect, especially in transition.

Watched the Vibo-Ravenna replay. Nishida went off with 26 kills and 2 aces. Mauricio also had a solid match.

Trentino came out to play today but fell short against a resurgent Lube, 3-2: 20-25, 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 15-13.
Also, I'm not sure but Zaytsev looks almost 100% to me.

Lube scored 21 points from the MB position spread among three players.. 18 of them were from Simon.
