Also don't come at me if I included or excluded a team in a specific year. Mainly going off of memory here as far as toughness. I used huskers.com to look up the schedules.

In 2015-2018 it certainly wasn’t the case. But this year, and in the spring I would say Nebraska had an easier start to the schedule. I do think tougher matches later in the season might be better for TV, especially with the Big Ten title on the line. So maybe the schedulers try to save some big matches for the last few weekends?

Ok, I was too lazy to go back too far in the schedule so maybe it’s just recent memory. I can see tv networks would want the conference championship settled in the last 2-3 weeks. I assume NU vs Wisc in early October is the same game but would probably get better ratings in late November with the Conf championship on the line.

To me it looks like all 6 of the top 25 B1G teams have tough remaining schedules.
