I just laugh at people who are somehow upset or disappointed about last night’s Iowa match. We won 3-0 in an away B1G match. I think it’s hard to really get a grasp of a teams skill level unless you see them in person. . . Or maybe not, but I can only say Iowa has some really good players. I thought Nebraska was a step slow defensively last night, but the Iowa hitters are B1G players. And to those of you who think Iowa has no good players, they swept Iowa State 3-0. . . And tonight, right now, Iowa State just won the first set of their match with Texas. Every B1G team except Rutgers has a team full of Big Ten players. I have no answer for why Iowa lost so many in the non conference, but they have some quality players. 🏐

I think it would help Ally to know Sun is not coming in for her. This kind of seems much like the every changing lineup to start the year. Ally got the nod over Sun to start B1G play and I feel like she needs to be given the entire match. I pretty much agree with you, but she had four consecutive hitting errors and the set was in danger of being lost. I think he felt he had to do something positive and with the so called talent on the bench he would be expected to come up with a quick fix. It seems like Sun was not a good solution. I am very curious what he is going to do with that spot in the future. Ally has had some very good games to her credit and I would really like to see her back in that spot but the quality of play will also have to come back. I think he would not hesitate to put Whit in there but he sees her play in practice and is in the best position to decide if she goes in or someone else is playing better. We all have to remember that his goal in to win the match with who ever it takes.  GBR |

I think that some of you have forgoten what the scores were when Iowa played in Lincoln. The score were 25-17, 26-24, & 27-21. What do you thing the scores were when Iowa played at Wisconsin? They were almost identical as the scores were 25-21, 25-15, & 28-26. I'm thinking some of you are disappointed that it wasn't as big of a win last not as you thought it may be.
